Silverman Consulting LLC is led by Nate Silverman. Nate also has hand-picked a small group of specialists to help companies in specific areas.
Mr. Nate Silverman is an experienced sales executive, entrepreneur and advisor to early stage investors and other entrepreneurs. Nate earned one of the first Certified Hot100 Business AdvisorTM designations in the nation and has founded, co-founded or led a number of start up companies and programs. He also serves as a technical advisor to Mont Vista Capital, global investment bank engaged in advising, trading and investing in the renewable energy sector.
Nate has 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development in the Pacific Northwest and California working with entrepreneurs, Fortune 100 companies, and rapidly growing SMBs. His speciality is finding novel solutions to problems hindering a company's growth, then creating and executing new programs to propel the company's revenue, profitability and brand presence.
During his career, he has reviewed well over 1,000 business plans as initial deal screener for investors and has coached hundreds of entrepreneurs seeking seed capital from angel groups. Nate began his involvement with angel groups as a Program Manager for the Alliance of Angels in Seattle. He later co-founded and actively managed four angel investor groups: the Northwest Energy Angel Group, the Bellingham Angels, the Apple Seed Network and the Columbia Investor Group. He also has assisted at least five other groups across the country get started.
Over the past 15 years, Nate has conducted and organized a series of educational events for entrepreneurs and investors. He also has served on the steering, screening and/or coaching committees for a number of Northwest investment forums and competitions, including:

In addition to his experience with equity investors, Nate also supervised an SBA-supported program in Washington State to help small businesses compete for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) research grants.
Prior to moving to the Seattle area, Nate worked for several years in marketing and fundraising at United Way and as a public relations manager for a leading public relations firm in Southern California.
Nate earned an MBA from the University of Washington, focusing on entrepreneurial marketing, and a BA in economics from the University of California, San Diego.
